Lady Mules Blank Aces In Tennis With a shutout win over Mt. Carmel, the Fairfield Lady Mules tennis squad picked up another dual win, beating the Aces 9-0. Fairfield swept singles play in straight sets, needing just one tiebreaker. That came in a win by Madeline Foster at the number two spot. Not A Repeat, But A Repeat: Lady Mules Knock Off NCOE For Title For the fifth straight year, Chet Snyder’s Fairfield Lady Mules and Jaclyn Melton’s NCOE Lady Cardinals met in the championship of the Fairfield Kickoff Classic, and for the fourth time in those five meetings, the host Mule gals came out victorious Saturday, winning the championship match, 25-21, 25-20. FCHS Mules XC Tom Wickham Invite, 8-26-23

Jennette Leads Mules To Team Title At Wickham Invite; Lady Mules Second Hosting their first meet of the year, the Fairfield Mules won the boys’ team title in the Tom Wickham Invitational, while the Lady Mules took second. Sophomore Grant Jennette set a new meet record with a winning time of 18 minutes, 51 seconds, following up on a strong freshman track season in the spring.
