Mules Drop Third Straight; No Wiggle Room Left In Playoff Chase Despite scoring 20 points in a five-minute stretch in the first quarter, Justin Townsend’s Fairfield Mules suffered their fourth loss in five weeks Friday at home, with the visiting Carmi Bulldogs pulling away to a 42-26 victory. Lady Mules Take Care Of Business Against Visiting Eldorado Eagles Winning their fourth straight game and third straight in league play, Chet Snyder’s Fairfield Lady Mules easily took care of business Thursday in the Mule Barn, handing the Eldorado Eagles a 25-11, 25-7 loss. The hapless Eagles fell to 1-12 with the loss, while the Lady Mules improved to 19-2 overall, 3-0 on the BDC-East.
