Draftkings Lineup Week 2

Had a strong start to the year last week, putting up 200 points as they finally let Russ cook and Davante Adams went off. I return to the well on one of those two. DraftKings Lineup Week 1

Only one lineup this week. I have not reloaded my Draftkings lineup yet this year. With sports gambling finally legal in Illinois, my discretionary gambling money is mostly in BetRivers and FanDuel right now. But, I had a little left over in DraftKings, so I will see if I can build that back up before I put any new money in. This is a mostly head-to-head lineup. QB Russell Wilson, SEA 7,000 RB Josh Jacobs, LV 6,800 RB Todd Gurley, ATL 6,100 WR Davante Adams, GB 7,300 WR Marquise Brown, BAL 5,100 WR Desean Jackson, PHI 4,900 TE Jack Doyle, … Continue reading DraftKings Lineup Week 1

MLB Season Is Nigh…Win Totals Edition

Tonight is the return of the first games for one of the “Four Majors” since the Covid pandemic began. I’m sure it will be weird–no fans, no spitting (yeah right), etc–but a return nonetheless. In a shorted season with just 60 games, and no idea if this whole thing can stay on the rails or not, looking at futures and projections is, by and large, a futile exercise this year. You know, like the bench press. Anyway, I’m not above being futile. So, like I do every year, I sit down and average some of the projected win totals, along … Continue reading MLB Season Is Nigh…Win Totals Edition

Charles Schwab Challenge Bets

I meant to get this posted last night, but got to hanging out with a friend until fairly late, ironically enough at the local golf course. The Charles Schwab this year feels big. It’s not most years, but it serves as a benchmark this year as the return of sports continues to trickle along. It gives this tournament somewhat of a Major feel. I even considered putting together a Pick 5 group like we often do for Majors. That being said, I have some action on the tournament this weekend. Most of these are off the board already. Sorry about … Continue reading Charles Schwab Challenge Bets
