Only one lineup this week. I have not reloaded my Draftkings lineup yet this year. With sports gambling finally legal in Illinois, my discretionary gambling money is mostly in BetRivers and FanDuel right now. But, I had a little left over in DraftKings, so I will see if I can build that back up before I put any new money in.
This is a mostly head-to-head lineup.
QB | Russell Wilson, SEA | 7,000 |
RB | Josh Jacobs, LV | 6,800 |
RB | Todd Gurley, ATL | 6,100 |
WR | Davante Adams, GB | 7,300 |
WR | Marquise Brown, BAL | 5,100 |
WR | Desean Jackson, PHI | 4,900 |
TE | Jack Doyle, TE | 3,600 |
FLEX | Alvin Kamara, NO | 7,200 |
DEF | Washington FC | 2,000 |
I have Russell Wilson at number 2 in my QB rankings, behind Lamar Jackson, and at a savings of $1,100. Jacobs is the only one of my top five backs less than $7K and I went with Gurley hoping for some scoring in that game with Seattle. I faded the free space play of the week in Antonio Gibson, who along with Boston Scott will be two heavily owned backs this week. Even without going cheap at RB with those two, I was able to get the #2 WR on my board in Adams thanks to going cheap at WR2 and WR3 with boom-bust picks in Brown and Jackson. Hoping the Desean Eats In Week 1 narrative holds one more year. And I got the cheapest defense available in Washington, who actually has a decent DL going against a revamped and injured Eagles line.
Update: Not too bad of a start.
