Tennis Mules Keep Busy

The Fairfield Lady Mules tennis team have stayed busy, including a Saturday showing in the Herrin Invitational. Lainie Milner had their best placing on the day, winning twice and finishing second in the number two singles bracket. She beat players from Benton and Herrin to win her pool, then lost to Marion in the championship. In doubles play, Karigan Harvey and Brittany Titzer picked up one win the number one doubles bracket. In the number two doubles bracket, Cassidy Webb and Lainie Kunce dropped both their pool play matches, but then beat Carmi tandem in the fifth place match.
