My wife likes to joke that I lured her in with my cooking. At least, I think she is joking. I use to cook quite often. But a promotion last year ate up a lot of free time (which led to eating out more often). This happened right before we got married. They did not play their sharpest game of the year, but an off night for the Fairfield Lady Mules is still good enough for a 25-12, 25-19 home conference win over Eldorado Thursday night. That was the second BDC win of the week for Chet Snyder’s squad, after they beat Hamilton County Tuesday on the road, 25-14, 25-11. Coming into the year, the Lady Foxes were thought to be the toughest challenge within conference play for Fairfield.
