NFL Draftkings Week 16

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Here is what I’m rolling with this week. There is enough value out there you can pay up to Mahomes at QB this week, but I’m going with Hurts and that rushing upside against the Dallas D. And then we have a bunch of guys I keep playing in the wrong weeks–David Johnson, Tim Patrick, DJ Moore. They have all had good weeks, seemingly anytime I don’t play them. So my solution apparently is just to always play. Godert is my hurts stack as that salary has come down on him. And … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 16

NFL Draftkings Week 15

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Single lineup this week as I plow through my to-do list and play catch up on some house/personal stuff this morning. Doing something this week you absolutely should not do: playing a bunch of high ownership guys in smaller GPP tournaments. Hilton, Mahomes, Kamara, Hockenson and Aiyuk all project to be 10-20 percent owned this week. In fact, the only low-owned guy in this lineup is probably Gallup. And yes, I paid up for the Rams, who should be the most popular defense to own as they face the Jets. Make no … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 15

NFL Draftkings Week 14

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Cash on the left, Early slate only on the right. Players in both: Tim Patrick, Jordan Akins. Both are basically last men standing in depleated offenses. Switched it up a bit this week as I have an Early games only lineup, along with my cash play. Early slate was for a Mission complete on Draftkings. Wilson has been cold for a few weeks. Well, enter the Jets. I actually think they might cover the 14-point spread, and Wilson won’t be able to put it in the tank after halftime. Yeah, I know … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 14

NFL Draftkings Week 13

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Cash on the left, GPP on the right. Players in both: Dalvin Cook, Austin Ekeler, Robert Woods. I also have a different cheap Bears receiver in both. Cook is beat up, but the Vikings have the highest projected team score of the week and are 10 point favorites. Firsker is the cheap punt play of the week, at just $2,500 with Jonnu Smith out for the Titans. Only takes a couple catches for him to hit value. In GPP, it generally doesn’t make sense to play a Defense facing your quarterback and … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 13

NFL Draftkings Week 12

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Just cash for me this week as I got a late start and won’t get a chance to look at low ownership plays. Thanks to value found throughout today, I was able to pay up at QB for Mahomie and at RB with Cook and TE with Kelce. All of those guys will be around 30 percent owned, but it is a rare week you can afford all three and be comfortable elsewhere. Hill and Hines are lower dollar guys getting opportunities with backfield mates out–Gurley in Atlanta and Taylor in Indy. … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 12

NFL Draftkings Week 11

Apologies on not getting this up before the noon kickoffs. I got a workout in this morning and am running behind. Here is what I’m looking at this week. Just cash for me this week. I’ll go on record as saying Jameis Winston probably should have gotten the starting nod over Taysom Hill. I don’t think Hill works as a fulltime quarterback. But, if they are rolling with him, I’m gonna bank on him getting enough rushing yards to make is usable as a cheap QB. Cook will be highly owned, Gibson medium-owned in the 5-10% range. Tyler Boyd will … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 11

NFL Draftkings Week 10

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Two line-ups once again. On the left is my cash lineup, with GPP on the right. Rolling once again with the rookie QB in both lineups. This is a high-risk, low ownership play as he should be less than five percent owned against a top 10 pass defense from the Dolphins. Mike Davis is almost autoplay at that price with McCaffery out again. And then I’m counting on the Packers and Steelers. I have Jones/Adams in both lineups, as well as Diontay Johnson. Then, in my GPP, I double up on Pittsburgh … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 10

NFL Draftkings Week 9

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Two line-ups once again. On the left is my cash lineup, with GPP on the right. Cook might wind up the most owned player in DFS this week and is a cash-game must. I just didn’t have the guts to fade him in GPP either. Darnell Mooney is not quite a full punt play, but is the What The Heck guy this week at $3,900. He has had at least six points in three straight games and at 3.9k, it doesn’t take much to reach value. Darren Waller is the other guy … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 9

NFL Draftkings Week 8

Here is what I’m looking at this week. On the left is my GPP lineup, with cash on the right. Let’ start with cash. Derek Carr is looking at a high-wind game, but the Raiders are built around the short-intermediate passing game already, so I don’t see as much of a downtick there as a typical QB would in 30 mph winds. Henry is almost auto-start at this point. Hunt is running it back against Carr in case the wind does prove problematic for Mayfield, and the Raiders are 29th in rush defense DVOA. Adams is a cash-play must at … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 8
