So, I Finally Returned To Powerlifting…It Went Well

I have not done a competitive powerlift competition since the summer of 2016. In between then and now, I got in the worst shape of my life. So, I went into 2020 with the intention of getting back into lifting heavy, while also taking some weight off. It is hard to serve those two masters at the same time, unless you were as detrained as I was. 13 months ago, I tested my maxes. NFL Draftkings Week 15

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Single lineup this week as I plow through my to-do list and play catch up on some house/personal stuff this morning. Doing something this week you absolutely should not do: playing a bunch of high ownership guys in smaller GPP tournaments. I simply did not want to invest the time in ratings teams in a season with so much capacity for chaos during a pandemic. Players out, games cancelled, etc. It just seemed like a futile exercise this year, just like resistance to the Borg. But, with championship week upon us and the playoff, I decided to do my power ratings for the 25 teams in the College Football Playoff rankings. This is not a ranking of who should be in or out, … Continue reading College Football Power Ratings, Championship Week

NFL Draftkings Week 14

Here is what I’m looking at this week. Cash on the left, Early slate only on the right. Players in both: Tim Patrick, Jordan Akins. Both are basically last men standing in depleated offenses. Switched it up a bit this week as I have an Early games only lineup, along with my cash play. Early slate was for a Mission complete on Draftkings. Wilson has been cold for a few weeks. Well, enter the Jets. I actually think they might cover the 14-point spread, and Wilson won’t be able to put it in the tank after halftime. Yeah, I know … Continue reading NFL Draftkings Week 14
