Lady Tigers Clip Fairfield Tennis Girls, 5-4, At Lakeside Courts

Hosting one of the top tennis teams in the area, the Fairfield Lady Mules suffered a 5-4 home loss to the Richland County Lady Tigers Wednesday.

Fairfield got two wins in singles action, at the number one and six spots, then got two more in doubles play in the one and three spots.

Lisa Tomasi kept her unbeaten streak going with a 10-0 shutout in singles action against McKenna Snider. She then teamed with Madeline Foster for a 10-9 (3) win in doubles play, coming from behind to win after a slow start.

Hunter Kirk got the other singles win, besting Karlee Bissey, 10-5. She then teamed with Wren Braddock for a 10-6 win in doubles play.

The Lady Mules will host Mt. Vernon today (Monday). They will then host Carmi Tuesday and Newton Thursday.
