Most comic book superheros have a distinguishing logo. Everyone knows the S, the bat, the shield and star. And we know what they represent. Each logo signifies something about the wearer.

So, what would be your superhero logo? What symbol would you use to identify who you are to others?

I can’t draw. I would struggle to get a straight line on paper if I was spotted the ruler. Luckily, I did not have to draw mine. I stole it from a random online T-shirt and then tweaked it to have a tattoo artist put it on my right shoulder a few years back.

So what do i want this logo to say?

Live free, stay disciplined, take advantage while you can.

The mask reminds me of a motorcycle rider mask. It is my reminder to live free, to take the adventure. Go with the flow. Be one with the wind.

The katanas are my reminder to think of the samurai way or the bushido code. Discipline, honor, service.

The skull is my reminder that life is finite. There are only so many days. Use them wisely. Basically, a cool looking representation of memento mori.
