For a guy who reads a fair amount, more than average I would say, I am a slow reader. Extremely slow. I tend to reread quite a bit. I contemplate. I read again. And I take notes.

Sarah has been waiting on me to finish this one so she can read it. Bless her patience. A chapter a day. I put it in my to-do list every day. I plug away.

If you want to be a writer, you have to be a reader, they say. I write much faster than I read, actually. Of course, I never reread what I write. Just ask my former proofreader. Barb at the Press is an angel and a saint all in one.
