After the carnage of week 2 with injuries, we are back for yet more punishment and misery. But, seeing two of the first three picks in season-longs go down on the same day is a reminder of why I play more DFS than season long at this point.
Two lineups this week, mostly cash-game based as I like a lot of the chalk this week.
Lineup 1
QB–Russell Wilson vs. Cowboys, $7,300
RB–Miles Sanders vs. Bengals, $6,400
RB–Devin Singletary vs. Rams, $4,900
WR–Deandre Hopkins vs. Lions, $7,900
WR–Amari Cooper vs. Seahawks, $6,500
WR–KJ Hamler vs. Bucs, $3,000
TE–Jordan Reed vs. Giants, $4,000
Flex–Jonathan Taylor vs. Jets, $7,000
Def–Giants vs. 49ers, $2,700
Murray will be the popular QB play this week, but I wanted to get a piece of the Cowboys-Seahawks game and that high Vegas total, so I have Wilson and Cooper here. All three Cowboy WRs are in value range, actually, with the Seahawks allowing the most passing yards. Wilson’s numbers (9.7 ypa, 9/1 TD/Int) aren’t really sustainable, but I like the matchup at least one more week. SIngletary gets a bump up with Moss out for Buffalo. Hamler is a min price play that allows me to force Hopkins into a non-Kylar lineup. Hamler led the Broncos is routes run and had 7 targets last week. It won’t take much to reach value. And the Giants play is simply about a low-price D playing Nick Mullens.
Lineup 2
QB–Kyler Murray vs. Lions, $6,800
RB–Ezekiel Elliott vs. Seahawks, $8,300
RB–Miles Sanders vs. Bengals, $6,400
WR–Deandre Hopkins vs. Lions, $7,900
WR–Terry McLaurin vs. Browns, $5,900
WR–KJ Hamler vs. Bucs, $3,000
TE–Logan Thomas vs. Browns, $3,700
Flex–Kenyan Drake vs. Lions, $6,000
Def–Jets vs. Colts, $2,000
Game stack and chalk heavy here. I’ve got the Murray/Hopkins/Drake stack. I’ve got two pieces of the Redskins passing game vs. the Browns. And the min price Jets D.
Players in both lineups: Sanders, Hopkins, Hamler.
Happy hunting.
