Here is what I’m playing this week.
The highest predicted team score of the week is the Minnesota Vikings, with 28.5, against Atlanta. I’m skipping over Kirk Cousins this week, however, and going with three lineups with three quarterbacks from that next tier down in Vegas totals, two from the same game.
Cash Game Lineup
QB | Ryan Tannehill vs. Texans | $5,900 |
RB | Derrick Henry vs. Texans | $7,300 |
RB | Alexander Mattison vs. Falcons | $7,200 |
WR | Adam Thielen vs. Falcons | $7,300 |
WR | Terry McLaurin vs. Giants | $5,700 |
WR | AJ Brown vs. Texans | $5,600 |
TE | Irv Smith Jr. vs. Falcons | $2,500 |
FLEX | Jonathon Taylor vs. Bengals | $6,400 |
DEF | Bengals vs. Colts | $2,100 |
As you can see, I’m stacking Tannehill/Henry/Brown here, while also still getting plenty of that Vikings offense with Mattison, Theilen and Smith. Those two offenses have the highest implied team totals on the slate at 28.5 and 28. With McLaurin, I have to hope he doesn’t draw James Bradberry too much, as he has become one of the best lock-down corners in the league. The Taylor play is simply hoping he finally gets the volume to match the talent as a 7.5-point home favorite.
Who’s Down With GPP?
I don’t play GPP too often, but rolled with a couple of lineups this week.
QB | Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. Jets | $5,900 |
RB | Derrick Henry vs. Texans | $7,300 |
RB | Mike Davis vs. Bears | $7,000 |
WR | Adam Thielen vs. Falcons | $7,300 |
WR | AJ Brown vs. Texans | $5,600 |
WR | Chase Claypool vs. Browns | $5,200 |
TE | Irv Smith Jr. vs. Falcons | $2,500 |
FLEX | Kareem Hunt vs. Steelers | $6,900 |
DEF | Bengals vs. Colts | $2,100 |
QB | Deshaun Watson vs. Titans | $7,000 |
RB | Derrick Henry vs. Texans | $7,300 |
RB | Kareem Hunt vs. Steelers | $6,900 |
WR | Calvin Ridley vs. Vikings | $7,800 |
WR | AJ Brown vs. Texans | $5,600 |
WR | Chase Claypool vs. Browns | $5,200 |
TE | Irv Smith Jr. vs. Falcons | $2,500 |
FLEX | Darius Slayton vs. Redskins | $5,400 |
DEF | Vikings vs. Falcons | $2,300 |
As you an see, I’m heavy on the Texans-Titans game this week. Henry and Brown are in all three lineups. As is Irv Smith from the Vikings. He is min price this week and is getting more routes each which. He only needs a handful of catches to reach value. Claypool feels a lot like chasing after his monster game last week. He will be pretty popular this week and that is a selection I may wind up regretting. I also have Hunt in both GPP lineups. The Steelers have the best pass rush in the league, and I’m hoping the solution is dump offs to Hunt, not Hunt staying in to block.
Happy hunting.
